comfrey

13 Apr

I like using comfrey as a border around the lawn. It’s pretty, of course, and grows in sun or shade–though the flowers last about 6 weeks in full sun and only 3-4 weeks in shade. The best feature, though, is that it forms thick clumps that few weeds can penetrate. To mow the lawn, just put the lawn mower wheels under the edge of the plant–no trimming!
