Here I made a classic novice gardener’s mistake of not allowing enough room for the plant to grow to its mature size. After it’s finished blooming, I’ll prune it back quite a bit. In the past, that has resulted in new growth and a whole new set of blooms. I can do that three or four times until the weather gets too hot; at that point it will stop blooming and just have green leaves for the rest of the season.
